Qualifications
Through my education and work experience I have become familiar with many aspects of design and photography. I am familiar with most aspects of print design, various scanners and peripherals and have an extensive background in multimedia for CD-Rom. I have used cameras including large format view cameras, digital cameras and camcorders. I am familiar with darkroom maintenance, processing negatives printing black and white or color as well as alternative processes. I am comfortable working in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PageMaker, Director, Flash, Dreamweaver, SoundEdit16 and Logic.
Work Experience
Community Relations 11/1/01 - 03/1/02 I completed working on the Humboldt State University 2002-2003 campus catalog in March. Courseware Development Center 1/20/00 - 6/1/01 I worked at the CDC as a designer specializing in multimedia projects. I was the lead designer on four interactive CD-Roms, including a nationally distributed CD on fish passage through culverts and the CDC portfolio. Designed the book "Traveling the Trinity Highway". Digital Literacy Closet 1/20/99 - 1/20/00 I worked at the DLC as an instructor. Helping students with individual projects, from planning and designing the project to tutoring them on the computer programs that would be needed to complete the project.
